LOTUS STUDIES
2026 - ongoing
Lotus Studies is an ongoing body of moving-image works that uses the lotus as a recognizable visual structure rather than as symbol. Across the series, the flower appears, recedes, overlaps, dissolves, and reforms, moving continually between clarity and abstraction. Through restrained shifts in light, color, movement, and sound, the works treat duration as compositional material and consider how recognition changes when an image never fully resolves into a single view.
ABSTRACTS
Abstracts explores how recorded fragments of the natural world can be transformed through movement, layering, color, and duration. Forms shift between recognition and ambiguity, allowing light, texture, and motion to become the primary structure of each work. Rather than resolving into a fixed image, the compositions remain in flux, changing gradually through time.
