The Year that Barcelona Built

Hello, art lovers and friends,

What a whirlwind 2023 has been! As I sit here, reflecting on the past months, I can’t help but think back to a pivotal moment that set it all in motion: my exhibition at the new gallery in La Pedrera, Barcelona. I’m calling it "The Year that Barcelona Built" because, honestly, everything that happened this year felt like it was built on the foundation laid down in that beautiful city.

The Catalyst

You see, showing my work in Barcelona was more than just an art show; it was an inspirational homecoming of sorts. The architectural genius of Gaudi and the mesmerizing beauty of nature, which have always been at the heart of my work, surrounded me there. Walking through those Gaudi-inspired spaces, I felt my connection to his work and the natural world rekindle and deepen. That experience was like reigniting the flame of my creativity, reminding me of why I started this journey.

A Dream Realized

After Barcelona, it was like the universe was saying, “Alright, let’s get this show on the road.” First came the dream come true – signing with a gallery for the first time. Can you believe it? My art, which started as a personal quest to explore the interplay of technology and nature, now had a home and an amazing curator!

A Surreal Experience

But the real pinch-me moment was showcasing my work in Times Square. Seeing my art, inspired by the organic forms of nature and the architectural beauty of Gaudi, amidst the buzz of New York City was surreal. It was as if my pieces were weaving tranquility into the fabric of the city’s chaos.

With a heart full of gratitude, I’m excited for what lies ahead. This year has been about connecting, sharing, and exploring. I'm thrilled to continue this journey, exploring new horizons, and creating art that resonates with our collective spirit. A big thank you to all of you for being part of this beautiful adventure. Barcelona might have built this year, but together, we’re building a lifetime of artistic exploration and shared moments.

Here’s to more creativity, connection, and shared experiences in the world of art!
